When I first got into real estate, I assumed that people who owned million-dollar homes were different from everyone else. I imagined they had different priorities, different expectations, and a completely different way of making decisions. Over the years, however, I've had the opportunity to meet homeowners from every walk of life. Some lived in modest homes, while others lived in luxury communities, waterfront estates, golf communities, or custom-built dream homes. What surprised me most was not how different they were. It was how similar they were.
