WHY WOULD YOU EVER MOVE TO THE BEACH?

 Let’s look at some of the Top 5 reasons people that live at the beach love living there. First, let’s start by me explaining that there are 3 beach communities. The communities are Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and Atlantic Beach. Neptune Beach is probably the least crowed of the three.  None are too far from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean

Now if I’m being honest the ocean water in Jacksonville is not the beautiful clear water you wee in South Florida and the Caribbean. However, the sandy beach is beautiful and fun to squish your toes in the sand. So let’s dive in…

My #5: reason for living at the beach is that there are tons of locally owned restaurants and shops. Sure, there are the big chain franchises but there’s plenty of the mom and pops for dining selections. All are unique from pizza to fine dining. There are local boutiques from clothing, to souvenirs and local furniture shops. 

Number 4: Great coffee shops and breweries. Want to grab a quick cup of coffee or meet up with some friends there’s so many choices. Meet for coffee in the morning and cool down from a day at the beach in the afternoon with a cold brew! 

Number 3: The neighborhoods! There are small bungalows, cottages, casual condos, and luxury condos and homes. Its varied. One thing that you will hear is that the neighbors are friendly and will help out one another. Many neighborhoods are walking distance to the beach or shops. So depending on the community the car can stay parked at home. The oceanfront condos and homes give beautiful views of the ocean where you can watch a beautiful sunrise and see the dolphins playing in the surf.  Many of the homes are remodeled, some are new construction, and then many are in older established neighborhoods.  I’d say the beach lifestyle is friendly, casual & laidback.

Number 2: Spring and Summer are great for Art Festivals and live music at the beach. Lot’s of Free activities and it’s family friendly.  So, soak up the Florida Sunshine while exploring the Art & Music. 

Number 1: It’s THE BEACH! 22 miles of the Atlantic Ocean. You can people watch, watch surfers, walk the Jacksonville Pier, see people fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. Many love to take in the morning sunrise, watch the dolphins swim, and just relax taking it all in.
